Two Most Important Factors When Choosing a Watch

Guys,

What would be two most important factors when choosing a watch?

- Price

- Brand Image

- Style/Design

- Complication

- Re-Sale value

- After Sales Service

I would choose Price and Re-Sale Value :)

I don't think most will notice.

If you PM Dalip, he will fix it. He is clever.

He will ask Peter, Larry or Kenneth.

Too logical. Those are not the most important things. You buy luxury items (like watches) with your heart not your head. You can try and turn it into a logical argument. You could even buy that way, but you won't be happy. Follow your heart not your head.

I don't believe the answers. You're telling me that a our members would choose a $40 watch that has cool styling and design over a Rolex?

All of the above, sorry to be so vague, but I can't really narrow it down, although after 30 years of hit and miss after service with my Omega/Rolex watches, brand service has risen in importance.

Omega after service has been dissapointing every time, even before Swatch took over. (my first visit was in the 80's) Still love my Omegas, and go to an independant now.

RSC on the other hand has been a pleasure each and every time. All my experiences are Toronto based, and just my two cents worth.

I chose the complications but would also like to add the style/design and the price.
