Great watch!! Countless threads on this model, btw. The "search" function is your friend.

I like the white dial, we all have a ton of black dial SS watches, so the change is nice.....plus the orange pops on the white dial.....

Nice to have a white face in the collection.

Good luck choosing.

I've tried them both on and prefer the white dial. I like the orange hand/white dial combo. My other watch is black dial and I wouldn't want 2 black dial watches.

Tough call as I am trying to decide the same thing.

I thought I wanted black, looked at the white and cannot get it out of my head.

I have 4 on my short list, the TT GMT, Black Exp, White Exp and the Green Milgauss.

Tough choices

I prefer the black dial on this model, and white dial on the 16570.

White one for me in this model. A stated previously most of us have quite a few black gave watches and the white is a nice change of pace. Plus the orange pops!

White dial! Hands look better, the black surrounds on the hour markers are an awesome contrast to the dial, and as said - how many other white-dialed sport watches does one own?

I wanted black like my 16570 but unfortunately the black 216570 had a matte dial, not shiny enamel, and the paint on the hands made them appear stubby. The paint also reduced the lume area.

So I went white and have no regrets. White 42s rule!

I really do like the black....but I think the white somehow iooks more original and stands apart from the standard Rolex sport models.

IMO, the design of the Explorer II shines more in the white....

The black is a quiet classy look whle the white pops a little more. The hands on the white dial stand out more. Me...I think I am a black dial guy.
