I must say I'm impressed with my Sub's accuracy

I sent my Breitling off for a warranty issue and I've had my Sub C on every day for the past month exactly. My Sub has lost a total of 2 seconds. I have not adjusted my Sub at all. I have been comparing it to my atomic pathfinder that automatically updates over night, every night. I must say, I'm very pleased!Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1337728314.395906.jpg

Of course you'd rather gain 2 a month than lose...

Just kidding!

My subc gains about .5 of a second to one second a week and I agree it's pretty shocking to have a mechanical movement do that week after week after week. Love it!

Can't ask for much more than that.

I also find my SubC to be of the most accurate in my collection.

That's pretty good accuracy. You're one of the lucky ones. Mine loses 1.5 seconds a day on average.

My 07 Sea Dweller loses about 2 seconds a day, while another watch with an ETA 2836 gains the same amount. I wonder how they'll compare in 20 years?

This might sound like a novice question, but how do you all determine how accurate your time piece is on a daily basis? I assume there is a device to "connect" it to to measure it?

I'm commpairing it to my Casio Pathfinder. This watch updates every night via the atomic clock.

From Casio's website

"Multi-Band Atomic Timekeeping (US, UK, Germany, Japan, China)
Receives time calibration radio signals which keep the displayed time accurate
Auto receive function (up to 6 times per day)"

search 'atomic clock' online. Get the 'official US time' site. Synchronise your watch. Check back daily or in a week or a month. Thats how i do it. My 5513 gains about .5-1 second a day. It was recently serviced.
