I don't wanna be rude, but I think this post does fit more in the "watches non rolex forum".
I expected to see an AP when I opened this... Besides that, its a nice watch my friend. Congrats! |

For the love of...
Exactly three (3) weeks ago today, I shipped off my Bumblebee for the 3rd yr warranty validation. They quoted me four (4) weeks to complete the job. I shipped it to them insured overnight FedEx. After receiving it, they contacted me saying that they were going to completely service the watch because the amplitude "concerned" them. Well, it's free so ok but there goes the 4 week timetable. I get a call late yesterday saying the watch is ready and will be delivered this morning. What ensues is a mad scramble to reshuffle my schedule so I can be home to receive it.
It came well packaged in double FedEx boxes with plenty of bubble wrap. As you can see, AP uses an inflatable wrapping that completely surrounds the watch leaving only the ends open. After removing the inflatable wrapping, the watch is found inside a ziplock bag. While the packaging is superior to any I've yet seen from a luxury watch company, it is a little disappointing not to get a nice box/case like JLC/IWC/Panerai... heck even a green suede pouch would be nice. Still... All is right in the universe once more... I have an AP back on my wrist! |

Sorry to hear about the hassle, but still you have to be glad to get it back Mike.

Now I just need my 15300 back from Clearwater! I wonder why AP doesn't just give us the 3rd yr warranty vs having to validate it by returning the watch?

Agreed. I dread the day I have to send it. Nice to know they really give it a good look though. An ode to their product and service! Really liking AP so far. A lot of bang for your buck compared to a few others IMHO....
