bracelet removal
I've never done this to any watch myself, but I figure since the stores that have Tags tell me the bracelet isn't all the way removable I'll have to do it myself.
Is there a whole set of tools I can buy for different pins and screws or are there only a few that I would ever use? The only 'nice' watch I have at the time is this Tag which is a later model and the bracelet can be removed as seen here, http://forums.watchuseek.com/f25/my-...ks-614324.html I'm going to order one of these straps and one of their deployant clasps http://www.thewatchboys.com/iwc-styl...tch-p-196.html Anyone know if I'd need anything else by chance? I know Tags aren't very popular here so I doubt anyone here has ever done this swap on one.. |

Tag Heuer
is just like most watches. To remove the bracelet you need a sprigbar removal tool. Bergeron makes a good one. You'll need one with a small end to fit in small spaces. Then when you put the strap on you should cover the lug with tape so you don't scratch it. More important when you put the bracelet back on you really need the tape.

If you get the Bergeon 6767 get the fine tip rather then the standard.
It takes some confidence in yourself, but as a TRF member... you can do it!
