How many links are removeable on a Daytona?
I have a Daytona showing up today and am curious on how many links are removeable from each side of the bracelet? My wrist is very small (6") and I didn't think about whether I could get the bracelet properly sized given my wrist size (salesperson didn't say anything when I was fitting it on wrist to see how dial would look).
Should I be concerned? Will obviously know later when it shows up, but would feel better to have an answer before it arrives. :) Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |

I've a 6.5" wrist and my SS Daytona still has 3 links that can still be removed, you should be fine. Also, the underside of the clasp will allow for more adjustment too.

You also have 3 grooves inside the clasp that you can also adjust in or out to help you get it right.

I have a small wrist also- 3 links were removed. Fits just a touch loose and is centered. Enjoy & congrats!!

I believe the answer you are seeking is - 6.
Although you have a 6" wrist, don't remove too many since you do want some range of adjust-ability remaining via the clasp.

thanks everyone! unfortunately the watch is arriving today and I'm heading on vacation tomorrow. No time to take it to the AD and get it fitted, and its killing me!
I looked through the DIY guide in the Reference section and may give it a shot...but I'm pretty clumsy and a reasonable % chance I mess it up and scratch something. |

Don't do it yourself unless you're confident and have the right tools, better to wait - hard as that will be!
I have learned that many, including me, must remove more links on the six o'clock side to get a centered fit. Whether you do it yourself or take it to an AD, you may need to try a couple of different configurations to find your personal best fit. Congrats! Great watch! Post pics!
