Buying outside the US

Recently purchased a GMTIIc here in the middle east and it didn't come with a Factory Service booklet or a "your oyster perpetual" booklet. Are these a US phenomenon only?

The Your Oyster booklet seems to no longer be included with any recent model but want to compare other experiences.

Just bought a SS Daytona for myself and a Datejust for my wife from an AD here in India and they didn't come with a Factory Service booklet either.
Just the warranty card, day tone/datejust booklet and the warranty translations booklet.

In U.K we don't have the Factory booklet.
We do have Sub/oyster booklet and Warranty translation booklet and if course the warrantee card and cloth.

Each market has different marketing management that chooses the collateral and packaging for their part of the world. Generally, this is true for most multi-national concerns - HQ goes along with their local decisions as long as they hit their numbers.

How about the "Your Oyster Perpetual" booklet? I don't see that it is really included in US purchases anymore either. Just the Submariner? Or all Oyster Perpetuals?

It has been included but frankly the time is long overdue for Rolex to get into 21st Century - no books - just a warranty card with S/N, etc + a USB drive with all the pertinent instructions in PDF and demo video's of how to work the watch's various features.

Hmmm.. here's what I got:

Warranty/Chronometer Booklet
Warranty/Chronometer Card
Green leather wallet/sleeve
GMT Master II Instruction Booklet
Swiss Chronometer Hang Tag

No "Oyster Perpetual" book
No Factory Service book
No polishing cloth.

I bought this in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Did I miss out on something? Anyone else buy this model anywhere, or any model in UAE?
