Hated it, now i am starting to love it.

well i bought a sea dweller. i thought it looked too small. wished i would have bought the gmt IIc instead. well the more i wear it the more it is really growing on me. to the point of loving it. it's funny how things sometimes have to grow on you. i used to hate panerai and now i really love them too. maybe it's a maturity thing.

I find you assessment correct. The SD takes a while as it doesnt overly pop, bling or wow you with size. Then one day you go "Holy Cow this is the perfect watch!" The right height, weight, and size. The right amount of subtle and bling. With a Sub C clasp its even better

I'm still getting used to people calling 40mm watches small. The SD is such a classic watch with a great history. I hope you will enjoy it for a very long time. It's a watch that deserves to be worn.

I'm glad you've found love with your watch. It's a much better feeling than buyer's remorse.

When you initially dislike something and then suddenly it grows on you and you end up falling in love with it... these are the loves that stay forever.

Often, things that we fall in love with instantly at first sight often tend to fade away quickly, and never last.
