New Travel Case for my Rolex Watches

Afternoon Everyone,

I've seen several threads from members asking for reccommendations on carrying cases for watches whilst travelling. My wife has just bought be one for my birthday so i thought i'd share it with you all.

Like many of you as my collection has grown from a single piece to multiple pieces it's inevitable that you'll start to think about taking more than one watch away with you when you travel, at least it was for me. As such i'd been looking for some thing that fit the bill and my wife surprised me with the following from Smythson for my birthday.

It's a Smythson watch wrap in black leather with a suede interior and has space for 3 mens and probably 4 womans watches inside. She even got my initials stamped on the front. All in all I couldn't be happier and looking forward to my next trip where I can choose to take more than one time piece, obviously keeping the travel case in my hand lugguage at all times!!!!

Hope you like the pictures - cheers Nick

very nice. Every time I go by a new jewellers I ask if they carry watch cases and the answer is always no. They're hard to find in my area. I'll look yours up on the internet. Your watches are also impressive and deserve a quality case

Very nice, I will have to look them up. I use Omega service cases, but when I travel I always bring more than one watch and have to carry three cases.

Looks really cool and I like the concept, but my worry would be that if they could slide into each other, it could really scratch them up...it'd be nice if it came with some sliding dividers so you could ensure that they stay separate while moving around. Or does it prevent this in some other way?

This was my first though while looking at the case. It seems that you would either need to have your watches really tight, or place something between the watches, to limit their movement.

Guess you could just stick some cotton balls in between or something like that...if top shuts fairly tightly, that would do the trick.

That's true. If the top is plush and tight it wouldn't be an issue.

I can happily report both, the top is also suede and fits tightly. No problem with any of the watches moving around. Thanks for all your comments
