The new Jumbo is already out; they even have one on display at the NYC boutique. It's a stunning piece, no doubt, though for me the non "AP" clasp, new rotor, slightly thicker case and lack of a charcoal dial option make it a non-starter. (Naturally, all the reasons I just cited as cons are definitely pros for others; it's just a matter of different strokes, and all that jazz, so don't jump on me, folks. )
When I finally succumb to the charm of a hobnail dial and "AP" at six, it'll be with an A-series. Regards, Adam |

Very nice collection. By the way, would you be kind enough to tell me how is the feel of wearing Diver with barcelet vs 15400? From the picture, they look pretty close in size? If the wear is around quite close, then i will buy a barcelet for my diver and wont consider 15400.

Is it better than the strap? IMO, no -- it's just different, but in a good way. In fact, it's so different that it's like having two watches in one. For my part, now that the summer is in full swing I'll be putting the Diver back on the strap for weekend pool duty and relying on my Jumbo for bracelet duty in the office. Regards, Adam PS - Glad you liked "gaggle", Cru; it is underused. ;-) |
