fair price for WG daytona?

I have a few week old WG silver faced daytona (116509) that had the bracelet scratched recently. I sent it into Rolex (Dallas) and they said everything was perfectly fine with the watch, but they suggested against re-polishing/finishing the bracelet because it was so new. I wore it for all of 3 days. The scratches bother me to no end, so I think I'm going to sell my watch. I haven't even received it back from Rolex yet and yet I can see the scratches in my mind.
My other option I have is to shell out the $12k for a new bracelet, which I don't want to do. To complicate things a bit, I don't have the box yet (it's being shipped over here from a relative's because I didn't want to pay customs). What is a fair asking price for the daytona that will allow me to sell it fairly quickly? Is 30k + shipping asking too much for the watch?

May take 10 years to sell it at 30k. Gold scratches easily. Why would you want to sell a gold watch because it has scratches. You popped your cherry that's all. Go buys some cape cod cloth and shine it up and you won't even notice the scratches.

You're going to be in between the 20-24k region for the watch
why on earth would it need a new bracelet???

if theres some significant cosmetic damage, deduct a couple to a few grand depending on how bad it is

Really, a watch acquires wear. This is how it is. Do you plan to have no watch ever? Because if you do, it will get some wear on it. If you were able to immediately drop your new expensive watch on the floor, that should tell you something about the possibilities.

Your solution sounds really off the beam to me.
