Eric, it seems like Everose gold fits your skin tone very well! I really like the look of that watch on you!

...Still, watch out for Rob! He's enabling you because he hopes you'll lend him yours when you buy it. He has the secret wish of wearing two of those at the same time for a swimming session!

I love it!!!! IMHO the blue hands look do much better than the gold hands. It's probably the only Rolex I'd own without a date.

I was surprised how nice it was. The RG complements steel nicely.

I've never really "got" the YM perhaps because it's so different from other models. It certainly polarises opinions - this was the Prodigal Guide in April 2010

" The Yacht-Master? Yeah, we’ll pretend you didn’t ask. This monstrosity belongs in the back streets of Bangkok, not adorning the window of an authorised dealer. The one thing we’ll say about it is at least it’s not destroying the good memories of a previously great model. The Yacht-Master has been a tacky looking mongrel since it was born in 1992. Horrible."

As long as you can keep your head out of the water with those on your wrists, they seem heavy as hell!

Thanks Carl I was looking at the RG Daytona too but the wife says it looks too flashy

SS and RG might be the way to go for me

It is an amazing watch!! The RG in the TT is even more amazing!! This has quickly become my daily wearer, I cant take it off.

The 44mm size really gives it presence and the complication is very unique.
Highly recommend this tremendous watch, in spite of the YMII "haters" they really cant be people who have seen and worn this watch in person!!

beside the RG Daytona for comparison...

with just my subs

both great watches and both "flashy" but of my two I prefer the YMII because of its size. especially on your wrist the YMII fits the size of your wrist much better than the Daytona (my ONLY complaint about it is its smaller presence)

of course IMO

As for the wife, I say the RG Daytona for HER and the TT YMII for YOU!! My wife wears my RG Daytona more than I do!!
