Icon14 CONGRATS to Roger Federer on his 7th Wimbledon title!

Great game by a great player and fellow Rolex WIS!

Strange to see Andy Murray crying, he should be used to losing by now

Looks like Federer is wearing a YG Day-Date

Andy improved a lot with Lendl, hopefully he'll win a slam soon.

Roger played it well, despite the early chatter of his being "over the hill" at 31!

A spoiler alert would have been nice. The final is on the tube right now in the States.

I have to echo this.

Those two long break points were the key if Andy had secured those i think he would have won it

Agreed. No sense in ruining it for everyone who can't watch it live by putting the results in the title.

How could people know it wasn't on live in other countries? It has happened, so it can be commented upon. I appreciate it must be frustrating, but avoiding clicking on a thread about the issue may alleviate the problem!

First of all, do you not understand what a 'spoiler alert' is?
Obviously not. A spoiler alert is announced to avoid disclosing a result to give others time to view a topic and not be notified in advance of seeing it!
He very well couldn't have commented on an outcome that didnt happen yet, now could he? Unless of course, hes clairvoyant.
Secondly, one doesnt need to click on the thread, it was in his Title! Anyone who hasnt had a chance to see the match live had the results w/o clicking on the thread. Not putting it in the title would have worked just fine.

Avoid clicking on the thread is just fine except the results are in the title of the thread.

Making a thread is fine but there is no need to post the results of the competition in the title of the thread. It ruins it for everyone who has not yet seen it, either because it has not yet aired in their country or because they have recorded it to watch later.

What did you expect with a word like "congrats" in the title?

So after reading the first word in the title we're all supposed to know what the rest of that title might say and stop reading right there? Thats brilliant!

I thought it was the Everose Day-Date, the newer bigger version of the day-date.

Poor miserable kid , he's only ranked 4th in the World rankings , he probably has to struggle along on a few measly million dollars a year , ah well... maybe things will improve in his miserable life , we can but hope .

BTW...What was that black plastic-looking thing Murray had on his wrist as he hoisted the trophy?! (LOL...it could have been some expensive ceramic thingee!...couldn't tell from the photos)

I think anyone would who is financially responsible. That is a lot of money to wear a watch! He can secretly wear whatever he wants when he is home.
