Should I wear it when ....?

It seems like once a week someone posts a question pertaining to if they should wear their watch during certain activities. I have only owned my Sub for a few months now and I have become very comfortable wearing it in all situations. I may be wrong and if I am I'm sure someone will give me some friendly advise, but so far its been in the pool, shower, golfing, weed whacking, and just recently in a few tactical situations in which gas (OC, CS) was deployed. I had to wear a gas mask but I don't have one for the Sub I would post some pics of similar situations but the pics would get pulled due to certain items within them

My point is...... it's a tool watch. You paid big money for it because it can handle it. I hope this helps those questioning if they should ever take it out of the box.

Some guys baby their watches but for me, I have enough to worry about day over day. Getting my watch wet is not something I'm going to fret about.

Personally, I follow a price:use ratio. The higher the price, the more I should use it. So, my daily use watch is the priciest, while my dress watch is far cheaper because I hardly go to formal events and even if I did, I would probably still use my daily wearer. That's why I invested in what I feel is a good one.

Imagine a man in his 90's with a Rolex on his wrist. Lets say a GMT Master. If the character on the watch matches that of his face you would think he had lived a great and eventful life. If not, then his time and the watch were wasted because he never did anything at all.

I dont know why people even ask such questions... I dont use my watch in all occasions and in general i take good care of all my thngs, and when I like a particular watch i'll try wear it as much as I can but not if there is a high risk of it getting damage thats what the cheap seiko and casio is for :D
