Solid links clarification
Hello all
Please help me understad this. Im looking into buying another Sub/SD - but not the new ceramic versions. Im getting some mixed answers about the center bracelet links (not the SEL end links - Im aware that they became solid around 2000. But does ANY of the non ceramic versions have solid center links(SCL)? Some say that every Sub/SD after 2004 have SCL - some say that the SD always had, and that the Sub had hollow links all the way up to the 116610. Please clarify. Thanks |

No solid center links until the ceramics.

The SD was unusual in the fact it had solid end links throughout the life, with the Sub Date getting a mid-life face lift with SELs in c. 2003. But neither of them ever had solid centre links

Not for the Subs or SD until the newer ceramic version was introduced.
Daytona's have had solid links since the 116520 reference was introduced. Also, Yachtmaster I has had solid links as well and DJ has solid links since maybe late D to Z
