FS: BNIB Ritmo Mundo Chronograph

I bought this Ritmo Mundo black strap quartz chronograph from an AD this past Summer (the week before I bought my Sub LV) and I just never wore it - not even five minutes - so it's absolutely mint. This is a fun watch, and it looks really good, with its oversized "burst" black dial and Casablanca-style numbers. The box is also really beautiful, and is complete, with outer shell and empty warranty card. You can easily give this as a Christmas gift as it's brand-spanking new.

The watch style is called the Piazza, and it retails for $900.00 (the price tag is still on it - in the photos I photoshopped the serial numbers off, but they are on the tag). You can typically get a 10-20% discount on this watch at an AD's, and I'll add another 25% on top of that, for a total 45% discount, or $495. You just pay for shipping at cost, and 3% if you choose to use PayPal.

Let me know if you need references - I've sold before on TRF and also have a ton of Ebay feedback.

Thanks!

No nibbles? Is the watch not pretty? Priced too high?

I noticed on the back it said "water resistant"

My dumb question...Is it waterproof?

Thanks.

That's a really good question... You know, no watch (even our Rollies) are truly "water proof", and my guess is that "water resistant" just means that if you splash water on the Ritmo you should be okay, and maybe even if you walk into the shower with the watch on, and then immediately out, you may probably be okay. Would I take this watch into the pool? No. Would I dunk it under water? Nope. Besides, it has a leather band - water would kill the band.

Controls are to start and stop the chrono. Movement is Quartz. Ritmo's are a fun Italian fashion watch that are hugely popular - this is not a Swiss-made tool watch (and price matches that).

Price Reduction

Reduced the price of the watch a further 10% (a total of 55% off list price), and your cost is just $405.

This is the last discount, after this the watch is off to Ebay.
