RB2, why so much love???
Im curious why so much love for the RB2? Don't get me wrong, it's sweet as hell, and I'd sell BOTH my arms for the Platinum version (blue dial/strap). Though at $100k, I will have to settle for the also sweet as hell Navy Themes.
So, for the RB2, is it the movement, Ti case, looks, limited edition, or just a combo? |

It's the coolest looking ROO period in my book
I'd take the Ti over this one any day of the week

Personally I don't see what the fuzz is all about on the RB2, on the looks, LE, or whatnot. If I am to get an AP ROO, my list would be the AP GP or AP Survivor over RB2 anyday

The GP is alson one of my favorite ROO's that I do want in my collection, IMO the Survivor is cool but a bit too much, and it also doesn't wear that comfortable.

I have yet to see one in person, I'm going to be in New York the rest of this week, hoping I can get to see one of these in person.

Eddie, you will be AMAZED once you see it in real life. I have only seen it once, and I believe I uploaded a pic on here before but just in case here are 2 snaps.
To answer the question, all emotions aside: the ceramic bezel is just something that has to be experienced. As a BB wearer for the past 6 weeks or so (I think), it is just ridiculously 'better' as a 'daily' watch. Yup, the Ti case is awesome with the weight (lack thereof) but also the tone/shade works SO WELL with the white inner bezel contrasting. The chrono dials also being white does not "overwork" the watch, I noticed that when it was on my wrist. Never thought about it from pictures. The crown is so cool, and the chrono pushers really round up the character. So yes, it is the "limited" and "holy grail" factor; BUT as a watch, single components make it special for sure. I am biased towards the screws' design as well as a GPC owner and they sure they hollow, exposed look. Really awesome watch. I do not lust after one, and do not think I will ever be in the market, and personally that adds to the lure! :) |

That would help as I just got a new house and also need a new car before any new watch purchase

That's a big chunk of metal. Was Rubens Barrichello really that cool to have such a cool watch named after him?
