Saturday cruise with the new FC...

Me and the wife took the Vette out for a nice Saturday cruise... I dangerously decided to to snap a few shots of my new FC.

The Last shot, my wife took... "Ummmm... hunny, you were supposed to get the watch IN THE PIC."

I wasn't sure if that was your wrist or your ankle; "man of steel" seems like a bit of an understatement.

What year is the 'vette?

Adam

Damn dude, that's tiny on your wrist. How the heck did you pull off a RO perpetual?

Thanks guys... As mentioned in the sunny out carbon pix thread, the FC really picks up some nice colors in the sunlight... Sadly for me though, 2 hours in the 93 degree heat with the sun beating on me brought out some unwanted color, lol.

Adam, it's a 68, first year of the Stingray and "chrome bumpers".

When your used to something, you don't notice the size... At least that's how I feel. And get this... Being that im a month out from my show, and down 25lbs, my wrist is about a 1/2" smaller then normal! Tbh, this SEEMS a lil large on me. Just got it yesterday though, so in a few days I'm sure my eyes will adjust and it'll be fine.

We are going to NYC mid-late Sep... I'm gonna try and track down a Legacy and T3 and see how they fit.

Glad you are enjoying the FC. It is a great fit for you. I think you could definitely pull off a larger size, bit it is all what you are comfortable with. Try em on
and have fun!

Congrats on that FC and good luck with the show! You need a Legacy now, it will fit you like a glove.

My Bumblebee says hello from the C5.

APs, Vettes, and working out, we can get along!
(I do not compete, just take fitness a bit too seriously given that I was an obese teenager so still messed up in the head lol).

Looking good my man, your pics inspired me to try to wear my watches right handed for a little bit.

You should change your name to manofforgedcarbon. fc>steel... heh heh

Lol, yes I agree Patrick, though tbh, after seeing yours with the leather strap, made me want one really bad!
