FS: Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military (42mm MilSub Homage)
This is the highly sought after Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military, that is a 42mm homage of the Rolex 5517 MilSub. It has a Swiss ETA 2824-2 movement, and appears to be performing comfortably within COSC accuracy.
It has a domed sapphire crystal, vintage tritium colored lume, and is I just received this watch on Wednesday, and it has been worn exactly twice, and there are no visible scratches. The watch is in essentially mint condition, and has been resized for a 6.75" wrist, and all the extra links are included. It is an extremely well built and substantial watch. I have tested the watch on my Timegrapher, and the accuracy of the watch is excellent, as seen in the photos. While the watch is amazing, and I received compliments about it from a Rolex dealer, the watch is to be honest a bit too big and substantial for me. It comes with the August 2012 dated warranty from Steinhart. I paid EUR 295 and shipping costs of EUR 30, together with customs fees of $20, for a total of $420. I am asking $400 (inclusive of Paypal fees, and USPS Priority shipping within CONUS). You save a bit of money for an essentially new watch, and you avoid the (possibly long) wait for one from Steinhart. More information about the watch can be found here: http://www.steinhartwatches.de/en/OC...tary-,477.html http://wornandwound.com/2012/03/21/r...tage-military/ |
