Sorry! The dang pic was upside down so I had to fix it. I suck at computers/photography/etc. All I am good at is spending money on watches...

Yeah. She was pretty stoked. Never thought she would own a Rolex. It's the midsize model, which I had never really given much thought to but was a lot more appealing in person than the standard ladies models.

Don't forget to have her insure it so she can wear it with peace of mind and not have to worry about feeling bad if it's damaged from normal life accidents. That way she can enjoy it without the guilty worry in the mind.

See what she says or make the insurance the next gift.

Congrats to her!!!! I purchased my wife a Ladies DJ for a wedding gift. We tried on 25+ watches before we found the "one.". I tried to see if she liked watches in the 36-40mm range but it just wasn't for her. I did try to see if she would like a SS Daytona but she HATED the size and the fact it didn't have a date. Honestly I didn't care for the way it looked on her. She's a nurse practitioner so a date really was a must for her. She has always said she likes smaller 26mm met all of her requirements. She just wanted a SS with pink dial. Again great choice. I'm sure it got you some big bonus points.

Here is a borrowed pick of the watch I purchased my wife.

I believe the Ref is 179174 and the dial is called Pink decorated mother of pearl with Romans. She found it in the master catalog and we went to 4-5 ADs before she found it. Honestly it's much better in person. Even though ADs carry tons of DJs with the 50-100 dial combos it tough to find the exact dial.

Can I be your GF? Errrrrrrrr, I meannnnnnnnn, just forget about it!!!

Kudos to her for having such a discerning BF, and make sure you manage expectations for the next "statement" gift, as she might expect a Bluesy.
