Watch: them for me!

I just received the watch around 40 minutes ago! I am working on photos as I type! I am speechless and unsure whether I want to wear it or not. It's beyond what I expected. It looks brand new. The chamfers on the case and the bezel look brand new and the new dial is more charcoal than my old one as mine had faded a lot. Not sure what to do! I am very emotional as I type.

I even had second thoughts about removing the plastics from the bracelet and the case and now I almost regret doing it. I probable should've keep them on and put it straight in the safe. I almost want to tear up because of how happy I am.

This watch means a lot to me and most of you haven't heard the story behind it. I've owned this same watch in three different occasions and it keeps coming back to me. I will share the story when I post my thread and also a review thread on the 5402SA. It won't take much longer I promise.

The only bad thing is that the APSC said the calendar wheel was going to be replaced and offer to comp it as a discount on the final bill but they didn't. Now I am waiting to hear back from them and understand what happened and what they'll do about it. Still very happy and emotional.

Didn't replace or didn't comp? Anyway, if I remember correctly, I did read the story you posted a while back and can't wait to see the pics.

Didn't replace the calendar wheel and they said that they were comping that as a discount for the large service bill. They are looking at the file to understand why it wasn't changed when they have initially mentioned that there were some scratches on it.

Ah well, look at it this way ... there must be a reason the calendar wheel keeps coming back to you as well

Like I said, can't wait for the pictures!

Sorry for the wait on the pictures. Still downloading the Photshop Elements to process the Leica Raw Images. Wish I would've know that before using the Leica and not knowing that my Apple Aperture does not support the .RWL format of some Leicas. Another 30 mins. or so. I should've used my Canon or Nikon instead!!!
