Are you sure it's nickel allergy?

Apart from steel pitting where you don't see it!

Back to topic: I'd consult your doctor and have him/her do a test to see if you react allergically to Nickel... still could be Chromium, too, like I suggested in the other thread.

I'll cross my fingers for you that you'll soon have the eczema under control!

NATO strap would solve this issue.

I am not sure modern rolex's would have nickel in them. There is a ban on Nickel in all Jewelry in Europe and other parts of the world, so I would imagine this extends to watches as well.

(though looking up 904l it would seem this was not the case)

Nickle allergy is more common than you think. Usual location is from the caseback of the watch. Often times in dermatology if you see a circular erythematous patch on the extensor portion of the wrist it's pretty obvious. NATO straps do correct this problem though not the ideal.

Spoken like a doctor

Unfortunately, I have issues which cause me to experience a reaction to nickle too - but it's not all the time, only about 50% - typically when it's really hot. I just received a Tudor Pelagos and the titanium prevents any issues for me.

Yep - My wife can't wear anything with much Nickle content. I guess I'll have to wear all the Rolex's in the household!

Check out your other thread... There exists a pad you can apply to the case back.

Well if I was allergic to Rolex steel, I'd just take some anti-histamines and wear my Rollies everytime
