Still in love with Rolex
I joined this forum in 2005 and haven't posted for over a year. I was surprised that I was able to log on.
In past years, I have owned and flipped four Rolexes. The one I miss the most was my Seadweller, which I had to sell to pay for medical costs in 2009 when I had Prostate Cancer. My Doc thinks there's a few years yet before my EOL, so I guess I am blessed in that regard. I am now intending to buy another Rolex as it has been a sad long time since I had one on my wrist. Other watches have been and gone as they just don't do it for me like a Rolex. I am now pretty ancient by WIS standards, probably one of the oldest members on this forum. I really like the Explorer, I can't say I'm ecstatic about the model with the 24hr hand. Just a bit too flash for a man of my age. A bubble date is irrelevant to me as well. I would appreciate comments from any member who has bought the new Explorer and what he thinks about it and how it performs. Cheers |
