Icon5 Opinions ?

I took a (dumb) chance and bought this watch. I had it appraised locally and was told it is a fake. The seller swears her local dealer told her it is real. I realize these aren't great pictures. Any opinions ?

I plan on returning if the seller agrees. If not, it's off to small claims court.

Oh my god, that's one of the worst fakes I've seen.

How you sent $7k to someone without at least comparing pics of authentic daytonas (thousands online) is beyond me.

I hope you get your money back

That price was just too good to be true for TT Daytona.

Sorry mate...but this definitely should not have the word 'Rolex' appearing anywhere upon it...

Suggest you visit a Rolex AD and hold a real one and all your questions will be answered...

All the very best with getting your money back!

I went through the ebay/paypal process and got my money back. For the record I did compare this to my real daytona and only saw minor differences. Quodos to my AD and you guys for recognizing this as a fake right away. I've got a lot to learn. The seller was nice about the whole process and didn't seem to know much about the watch. An interesting side note... he didn't want the watch back so I still have it.

Another interesting fact. The fake one weighs more than my real one.

Of course he didn't want it back. He probably knows what it is! I am glad you got your money back!

I had the first one appriased by my local AD. The same person reviewed the second one and knew immediately it was a fake. As for the fake one I want to determine if it will work as an everyday watch (timex etc) or I should destroy it. I will remove Rolex from anywhere on it if I keep it. I do have my suspicions of the seller since he attempted to sell it to me for $500 after determining it was fake.

It's worth NOTHING ....

Something isn't adding up here... Maybe I'm just too suspicious

I would never wear a Fake!

Those that choose to wear a Fake are not welcome here.
