Authorized dealers in Hong Kong
Hi, does anyone know where I can find a list of ADs in Hong Kong? I've already tried looking on the Rolex website and Google and came up with no definitive list. I'll be in HK in a few days and any help would be much appreciated.
Also, does anyone know the HK MSRP on a Sub Date? and what kind of discount to aim for? Thanks! |

Many AD's in HK. Chow Sang Sang would be one of them (in almost every mall). Head to Central, TST or Causeway Bay and there will be plenty of them.

I'm interested in prices as well. I'm trying to decide between having a watch shipped out to me in Afghanistan or picking one up in HK or Bangkok.
Deciding between GMT IIc and DSSD. Is it easy to find gently used watches in HK from reputable sellers? |

Chow Sang Sang is one of the main chains in HK. Others are:
http://www.emperorwatchjewellery.com/en/watch.php http://www.kingfook.com/ I suggest you hit the main strips in Central; Causewaybay; and Tsim Sha Tsui. There are numerous ADs in these areas - all you have to do is just walk around and you'll see ADs and watch shops literally around every corner. The last time I checked the SubC with date listed at HKD$61,200. Discounts are hard to come by these days from the ADs due to the high demand from the Chinese buyers. One option is to pay by cash and at most 5% can be had. There are also quite a few secondary market dealers in Tsim Sha Tsui and Mongkok. Good luck. |

I visited the Rolex store in Bangkok at Central World (not Central Chidlom) and prices were NOT BAD at all and there was an immediate 10% off offerd too. Only problems for Canadians is that I would have to pay 5% duty and 15% sales tax if I declared it. At that point not worth buying.
I also got a Rolex in HK.. Excellent prices especially if you know people who know people. Tks |

There are a number of big chains such as Chow Sang Sang, King Fook, Luk Fook and Chow Tai Fok. Some of these have several hundred ADs and you will see these names all over. Areas like Mong Kok have higher densities... I counted 8 ADs in 2 blocks of the same chain!

There is a good selection of pre-owned Rolex shops near the Holiday Inn Golden Mile area (Jordan Area). Take the MTR and exit Jordan Station, look for Nathan Road and it's all there.
Saw a couple of nice 1675's last time I was there. The prices though, are not for the faint of heart! |

Correction, the area is Tsim Sha Tsui and not Jordan, but close.

I will suggest starts from Peninsula Hotel and then head towards 1881 Heritage. Go past Ocean Terminal and head towards Nathan road.
Not only you will walk past dozens of Rolex AD. You will walk past AP, PP, VC and Breguet AD as well! |
