Joined the Club :D Beautiful 14790.

Picked up a nice two tone Royal oak, absolutely loving it.
Just wished I could take a decent close up with my Nikon
Got quoted £150 for a service from a local independent Watchmaker, can i trust him to deal with an AP?

Got quoted for what? And generally, no. Only use authorized AP service to avoid problems.

Very nice, congrats. I would only send it to an authorised AP service centre.

Congrats. And ditto on the above servicing comments, regardless of what needs to be done.

Congratulations. A classic AP and one of the few Royals that will fit my wrist. And I agree with everybody else here that the watch should only be serviced by AP.

Congrats on the Oak!
I would only trust AP Service Center with any APs.

Congrats! APSC is the way.
If you are concern about the cost, you could send it to be quoted first. It might sounds better than you expect.

Welcome to the club!

And only let AP SC work on your watch.
