My one and only!!

Posted Recently about consolidating my collection to one. Sold them all off and bought a BNIB GMT IIC.

I believe this to be the perfect all around watch. I don't need anything that will take me to the abyss, but I prefer the sport/tool look on a watch, while still offering the ability to dress it up if necessary. I actually had the PCL's brushed. I like them on other watches, but on this one, I prefer the brushed look.

My goal is to wait until after next Basel to buy another watch and then make it a yearly thing. Not always a new release, per say, but keeping that as a standard for me. AND NO MORE FLIPPING!!!!!!

I will update you guys and let you know if my plan works. I have tried things like this before, but it has always been an epic fail.

Anywho, a couple of pics to mark my celebration:

Congrats. Like the fortune cookie shot.

Not sure if I would put my G-Shock into same photo as my Sub - different classes !

(my G-Shock is at Casio right now, the case holes for the spring bars gouged out. Not so tough, eh?)

This is what it's all about! Finding your happy medium in horology and choosing the piece that fits your lifestyle best! Looks great Seth! I need to start wearing my 710 more often! Chris aka TheGMTMaster would be proud! Great choice and my preference over a Submariner! Congrats! Shake and Bake!

Great watch and a great beverage! If you like Don Julio then try something called Carralejo. Darn good silver tequila. Btw, I had the gmt IIc and loved it. Ended up flipping it for a Daytona. Enjoy!!

I will try that for sure. Killed half that bottle last night.

Love the daytona. That was one that I sold tho. Miss it already, but for me was less of an everyday watch.

Thanks Sam.

And Chris was actually a big influence on me. All his posts touting how superior this watch is just kind of wore me down. I hated not owning one.

Congrats! I too prefer brushed center links.

As for no more flipping - with only one Rolex it should be easier. Let's wait 90 days and reassess the situation.

Similar set-up Seth

went to just my Submariner 16610 and a G Shock. It is a pretty good set-up becuase both of those watches are so durable. If I wear the G Shock on the weekend I can;t wait to wear the Sub on Monday!
