I bought mine at the zurich aiport. it was $1000 (U.S.) cheaper than back home. To me thats a lot of $... so I grabbed it. The more $$ the model.. the bigger the savings. All depends where you are going.
I e mailed them before I came to make sure they had model in stock & cost. I offered deposit so they would set it aside etc.. They were super to deal with. Find an AD where you are going.. call etc.. This way you know before you get on a plane. |

Europe is huge it depends where and what country you are traveling too, Greece could be a safe bet for a discount at the moment.

Good call you're not going to Denmark... Rolex watches are expensive there!
I've heard that Switzerland should actually be a good place to buy Rolex... not as expensive as in most other European countries.

I was told by an AD that Rolex sets prices in Europe to be equal between european currencies (subject to short term fluctuations of course). That does seem to follow between UK and Euroland AD's on the models I've checked.

Try Heurgon in Paris. Address: 15, rue Royale, Paris 75008. They offer a pretty good price.

I live in Frankfurt and travel around Europe quite a bit...my experiences are the following:
- All Euro denominated countries seem to be priced the same - Greece/Athens was NOT a good deal when I was there 2 weeks ago. I was blown away by the number of Rolex AD's there (seemingly 6-7 including 2(!!!) Rolex boutiques). Athens gets such a huge influx of Chinese buyers and they are buying a lot so seemingly no lack of demand there. - Italy is the best place I've been as far as negotiation power. Granted, I did not buy a Rolex, but I bought a Tudor Heritage Chrono shortly after they were released and was able to lop off >20% without a ton of struggle. That was in Lake Como. Mike |

Try bucherer in Switzerland , they have showrooms in interlaken,lucerne.. The tax savings are what are the biggest, you may get a very small discount if you pay cash.... the counters are open till 10 or later sometimes. In paris try royal quartz in rue royale..
Italy the best deals were in rome and florence , i will not try venice if i were you..remember to plan time at the airport for the tax forms as lines can be long. |

not if you buy at the airports though. You get a nice saving and the bonus on the euro to £ exchange rate. EXPI 4411 euro and EXPII 5461 euro, do the math and you can see the saving on UK list is fairly significant. Oh yeah and yesterday Gassn at Schipol airport offered me a SS Daytona for 8100 euro

Italy would be much better. There is an AD called Pisa Orologeria in Milan and also Rome. They tend to have an extensive selection and are most willing to negotiate.
