Putting bracelet back on datejust (lug holes)

Hi all,
I joined TRF a short while ago and have enjoyed surfing on here.
I wanted to try my trusty Datejust (that's been on my arm since 1991) on a strap. I was able to remove the jubilee bracelet using this: http://www.messinajewelers.com/blog/...a-rolex-watch/
I had some fun with the strap, but now I want to switch back to the jubilee. I'm having trouble pressing both sides of the spring bar at the same time to get it back in using those instructions.
Any tips?

You don't press both sides at the same time. Try slipping one springbar tip into the lug hole first. Even it it doesn't click into the hole, this will keep that end stationary while you focus on the opposite end just as the last picture shows how.

It takes some practice and consistent thumb pressure on the underside of the end link so things stay put during your efforts.

Do 1 side at a time, apply pressure to the side you are doing.

If you really want to pop both sides in at the exact same time, you need something like this:

That's the Bergeon 6825, but I don't think we need it.
