FS: Rolex Submariner 16610LV F-Serial with Box and Papers
Up for sale is my Rolex 16610LV Anniversary Submariner. The watch is a very desirable and collectible early F-Serial with a Mark 1 dial and Mark 2 bezel insert, as well as box and papers.
This watch has served me well, but I recently sourced a Y-serial 16610LV which will take this F-serial’s place in my collection. For more info on the variations of the 16610LV: http://www.network54.com/Forum/20759...e+Vert)+-+The+ This listing includes: * Rolex 16610LV (serial: F0xxxx) * Rolex warranty paper (with style number confirming the watch is original LV) * Box (outer and inner presentation box), books, and one hang tag * Rolex polishing cloth Dial: Original Mark 1 “oval O” black dial and hands are original and perfect. Dial is untouched and luminous still glows. Case: Case shows little wear with a few very faint scratches. Serial number in between lugs is intact and highly visible. On the back of the lugs there are several marks and one very small nick from bracelet removal, but cannot be seen when watch is on the wrist (see last photo). Crystal is in excellent/near mint condition with no scratches that I can see. Watch may have had a light polish at some point. Bezel: Mark 2 (pointed 4) bezel insert is in near mint condition. No visible scratches and pearl is perfect. Band: The original oyster band is in excellent condition with all 13 links and little to no stretch. There are a few faint desk scratches that are barely visible. Movement: Mechanically, the watch is keeping great time. I’ve had no issues with it. Asking $6,600 (shipped via USPS Registered Priority within the USA only). Payment: Payment by bank wire or Paypal + fees. Paypal will only be accepted from buyers with references from well-known buyers/sellers. I welcome a face-to-face transaction in New York City. Sorry, no international buyers due to the difficulties of reimporting a Rolex back into the USA in the event of a return. Shipping: Watch will be shipped via USPS Registered Priority on the next business day after payment clears. Please note that from October 11-October 20 I will be overseas and unable to ship during that time. I'd be happy to field offers and questions however. Sorry, no trades. I have many references available, please PM me if you'd like to see more photos or have any other questions. Thanks for looking! Returns: Inspection period of three days after receiving watch. If not satisfied, watch can be returned for a refund less actual shipping costs. Watch must be in exact same condition as it was when it left my possession and will be brought to my watchmaker for inspection before a refund is issued. |
