I got the disease need help with the diagnostic JLC or AP.
Hi Guys,
Not trying to double post but I did post this earlier today on the non-rolex forum section and someone suggested I post here as well. Seeking some feedback and opinions. I currently own a JLC Master Compressor Navy Seal and a JLC Master compressor chrono 2, I feel the need for some change as both of my watches are different in some aspect but also similar in others. I was thinking of parting with the Navy Seal and replace it with a AP ROO Diver. What do you guys think, am I crazy or was I just got the AP disease ? Cheers |

I have a JLC Master Compressor II, and I'd have to admit that I'd trade for an AP anything, any day of the week. Beware, once you go AP, it's hard to wear anything else.

Definitely a Diver!!! AP is for those who are willing to take risks, spend their hard earned cash and live to the fullest. Here's mine.

Go with the diver. No regrets...other than you'll probably be selling other watches to get more APs.

+1, as much as I love the diver, I like the rubberclad for similar money. Rosegold rubberclad is the only other AP i'd sell my black themes for. At first I was hesitant about spending that much on a steel sportwatch, but don't regret getting my AP at all. Though be warned, the bezel will scratch just by looking at the watch.

The ineluctable seduction of AP RO is that it is a piece of sculpture masquerading as a watch--a testament to the importance of beauty in our lives. It's for people who need to possess and behold a work of art everyday regardless, or perhaps because, of its impracticality. If that describes you then take your time in selecting the AP RO that appeals to your aesthetic sense. But mind those roughly textured building surfaces.

Hi guys ! First, thank you very much for taking the time to answer. It's much appreciated. Now I am ready to offer both my JLC for sale. I already offered the Navy Seals on another well known forum but I can't post post it on TRF. Any reasons ? Anybody I should contact. I suppose it is for security measures.
Thanks again |

I think you have to reach a certain post count before you can list in the sales section.

Thanks everyone. Finally, both my watches are up for sale on different forums. Already one person interested in the Navy Seal. Looks like there will be an incoming thread soon...
Have a great week-end everyone. |
