Joined the club too late, now what ?15300...15400 or nothing at all ?

Hi everyone

I fell in love a little too late it seems. As one of my 2 JLC is gone to his new owner, I realized that there is no more new 15300 anywhere and that nobody is selling a LNIB one either.

I see that the 15300 is the main choice for most people but the 15400 bring back the double bars at 12 the original jumbo has. Overall I don't thinks it's that bad compared to the 153oo but what you guys would do ?

I love the 15400 but it seems there is not much love for it around...

Let me know what you think.

I tried on the 15400 it's real nice, I have never seen the 15300 in person yet but I like the 39mm ROC and it is the same size;

I also like the 15400 but in the end I wound up with the 15300

Picked up the 15300 and loving it. But was a tough decision between the 15400 and 15300.

Are the differences between the 15300 and 15400 a difference in 39mm and 41 mm and the AP at the 12 o'clock on the 15300 and the two line markers at the 12 o’clock? is there anything else?

That pretty much covers it. Also the extra hour marker beside the date window on the 15400.

You can definitely still find a new or LNIB 15300. Keep an eye on the classifieds and put a WTB ad. Contact DAVIDSW.

Seems like you answered your own question. If the 15400 lights your fire then that's the way to go! That being said, I love my 15300, and I'm sure you could find a nice one with a little legwork. Good luck!

I did contact David, I am definitively looking for a 15300 with silver dial. I already made room for this one but wasn't thinking it would be so difficult to find one...

I'd be happy with either anyway, just trying to find a 15300 for the size of my wrist.

Cheers

You can ask APSC to swap dials.

I had heard that they allow you to keep the original dial. But I could also be misinformed...it's happened before!
