Should wait for the RRR inside or not???? (M-serie LV)

Hi.

Should we wait for the M-serie LV with ROLEXROLEXROLEX inside or not? Some says the RRRR is not good in a LV.

The price perhaps increases in 2008... it is not so difficault to get one, isn't?

Thanks

Do you like the LV with or without CRB??? Is it worth the additional wait and possible price increase?

Depends whether you prefer some subtle 'bling' or not.

Given that you want an LV in the first place -- so you like some bling -- you may want to wait.

My preference is for as little bling as possible -- even my 16610's cyclops is pushing it for me (but has functional value). I like the black bezel and dial with its brushed stainless steel bracelet and no polished center links.

For someone like me, I am glad I have a traditional/old-fashioned Z-series Sub Date with no CRB -- the last unblinged series!

I got a non-CRB LV. I like the LV better w/o the CRB. The GMT II-C has the CRB, but I don't mind in there becuase the chapter ring is more vertical, and not as tall, so it doesn't stand out as much.

The first pic is mine, the 2nd I found on a forum.

Really not a fan of all the extra bling -- subtle or not.

Here is an extreme example of some factory-installed bling: the rear badge on the Cadillac Escalade. They should have just glued a hubcap to the liftgate -- wait, I think they did!

ye..

Blingbling is not my thing either. However, the CRB makes the LV to be a more special watch...(?)

Hmmm, interesting..

The CRB just identifies the watch as being a recent model...nothing else. Over time they will all have them..

It also identifies the wearer as a newbie to his/her Rolex..

I'm not sure if I would call either one "special"..

I have the CRB on a new "M" SubDate, & you really have to look to notice it, it is quite subtle. Can't even see it straight on, you need to angle the face a bit. IMHO, of course, why not have the latest version, unless you can guarantee that you will get the "last ever made without the CRB" MY 2 CENTS, OF COURSE...gha

the only reason to drive an Escalade is for the bling.

It's on my "Z" Sub Date, so maybe you won't have to wait for an "M" LV if you want the CRB.

I have to say I could take it or leave it. It's not particularly "blingy", but there again it's not really necessary either.

I'd just buy it. CRB or not. Next price increase for the US will be ugly, I'm afraid.

Are you serious?? The last one was nasty; the one where the no-date sub went from $3800-$4500.

If I was buying a new one I would only buy an 'M' with the CRB.

I was at a local AD (still learning the lingo!!) today and held a Lv "Z" serial with the CRB, so as previously posted somewhere here I think by Bo, doesn't look like you have to wait for a M to get it..

I'm also waiting to see both watches side by side to make my choice.Because they always look alittle different on your wrist. But by the time i'm able to do that
maybe i;ll have a new choice.
