Strange looking Submariners
On my never ending search for Submariner info, I came across some real odd looking ones on a French Rolex site.
Any experts can help!! I have never seen or read about these models before, but yet it is on a 1680 reference article. 1680 US Navy issue 1680 in SS or WG.??? |

The top one is a pure fake mate. Never seen the bottom one and guessing it has been butchered to look like that.

sounds like You are spot on, did read the odd articles about these USN ones on a few Forums, but no one ever came up with hard evidence of existence. |
