No-name on the papers may be OK, but the paper should have the dealership stamp & date at least. If you are buying from an AD, it may be better to get your name on it IMHO.

When I got my Rolex, the dealer inked their name into the card but wrote my name and date on a sticky paper and put it on the card. Easily removable if I wanted.
My Omega was left completely blank except for the dealers name and location. |

I would say YES!
The CCC for my SS Daytona is blank (my name and address is not written on it), and that could indeed make for a premium if I sold it (that I NEVER will, btw.)

I've been told by a dealer, in very absolute terms, that open papers are WORTHLESS. Of course, there was no bias in that statement, given that the watch that said dealer was selling had completed papers.
I agree that you would need the dealer stamp. Also, date might be necessary (though clearly it would be nice to fill in the purchase date after the watch breaks). If Rolex knows the date the watch was sold, and you sent it in for warranty service and the date was wrong, they may refuse it. |

It would be very unwise to flip it since I would never get a fifth one from my AD.
