14060M on nylon
Just tried this combination this morning.
It's a 2-piece Nylon band home-made from a NATO strap. What do you guys think ?? Cheers / Pierre |

Looks fine to me. I could wear it as a change up, but I always go back to the SS bracelet.

Looks great Pierre.
I use a Bond NATO with my SubDate daily and it's comfortable and gives the watch the extra 'oomph' in terms of muscle, like it really needed any extra. Looks like you did a good job with the stitching. Did you also heat treat the cut areas to make sure they won't fray in the future? I'm quite happy with using the one-piece strap on my watch, but each individual is just that, an individual |

Yes,
Looks good and nice and easy to change on the 14060. Having no springbar holes makes it much harder. Example - changing the SD to a strap is a pain.

You did a great job and The Nato in the Early Bond films used a 2 piece G10 Nato so you making yours is politically correct. I have never been able to find the 2 piece Bond G10 Black/Grey anywhere. I wish you could do a picture tutorial so I could make myself one. Very Good Job

I did the heat treat allright. Actually the stitching has been carried out by my wife, she did a great job. Cheers / Pierre |

Also I have the non-SEL bracelet, which I love, much more confortable. The GMT-II have SEL links, which are allright but I prefer non-SEL links. Cheers / Pierre |

Wicked cool Pierre!!
You're a lucky man. My wife can't sew... but I guess I'm handy with a lighter when it comes to heat treatment of nylon straps!! And re: lug holes... Two of my Rolex have lug holes. I think they are totally cool, and such a pity for the current sports models such as Exp's, Subs and GMT's not to have them. |

I guess there are advantages of wearing your Rolex on a nylon strap, but I for my part am not so fond of the look, so I always wear my Rolex with the steel bracelet supplied with it.

I'm a big fan of the G10 (nato) look. My first love in watches is vintage British mil. so 3/4 of the watches I wear are on nato's. That's a sweet combo, I have lots of nato's and a ND sub., maybe I should experiment also with some different colors.
