Zenith listing with my photos and description on eBay. Watchout!
Hey all,
I contacted the buyer of my Zenith that sold on here a few days ago to find out if he listed it on eBay. He did not! A watch that I sold has been fraudulently listed on eBay using my photos and description. My original listing here- http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=261689 Scam here- http://www.ebay.com/itm/150938756717...84.m1438.l2649 Please report this listing so that somebody doesn't get scammed. Unfortunately the scammer copied my photos and did not use Photobucket links. Guess it is time to start watermarking. |

What a jerk. Reported, along with a nice message to seller.

Just noticed he even lifted some of your text, word for word.

Thanks for reporting it everybody. Unfortunately, eBay did not heed our warnings and somebody seems to have purchased it.

That's a shame. Someone is probably going to eat this one, if the seller gets the money delivered to his account. What I can't understand is how this one fell through the cracks. This was a ZERO feedback seller, and several of us reported it to Ebay. It sold for over $3500.00 USD! Someone is going to have a VERY BAD DAY.

Do you think he might have "sold" to himself or a friend to build up watch feedback for a bigger scam?

It is certainly possible, but given the large amount of bidders, I think the scammer would be too greedy to let this easy money get away. But then again, most thieves aren't very intelligent, so who knows?
