Could you please state why it is fake? I am quite an expert on subs, but not on Daytonas, so it would be nice to learn something. What I see is that the the case is cut out for the pushers.

I think that it is counterfeit and the most glaring error to my eye is the coronet on the dial, a very common red flag.

This enhanced picture shows just how sloppy the dial is.
But on the other hand, I'm not so sure that my assessment is wholly accurate. I'm going to plead ignorance in this case. It just looks fake to me.

Maybe this quote copied and pasted from the auction will provide the best clue of its authenticity: "Not Rolex Made". What I want to know is what kind of shipping will $299.00 get you?

"FedEx International Economy." If that's economy shipping, I would hate to see the premium rate!

I don't think I would buy this one even if it turned out to be real. I can't really tell.

1961 - 1987 = Valjoux 72 (renamed Rolex 722) movement
1988 - 1999 = Zenith El Primero movement 2000 on = in-house movement The listing is accurate re the movement. The pix aren't good enough to make a call on authenticity, but it does appear to have a correct domed acrylic crystal.
