Counterfeit dial?

Never saw a dial like this before but I could be wrong.

It clearly describes it as a repainted dial.

I understand that but doesn't the use of the Rolex coronet and wording constitute a copyright infringement? Or is that a Rolex design dial that has been refinished?

Not if it is an original Rolex dial.

You can paint it pink and yellow or any combination you want without it being counterfeit.

The case is so corroded, give it a miss, it needs a new case. It will never be waterproof. It also has an aftermarket crystal , this can also effect waterproofing.
