I have a RARE Panerai 98 - only 3000 ever created during its 6 year production (500 per year from 2001 - 2008) with the Last MSRP of 10,400 USD if you could find one


these are really cool timepieces - has a GMT Function - Date Function - and a Mechanical Alarm Function = The perfect Travelers Timepiece


This one is in MINT Condition - Serviced in May 2011 (receipt included) - has a brand new brown Panerai Alligator Band with the upgrade of a deployment clasp - also includes the OEM tang buckle too.


It has both the pear wood box and outer cardboard box - along with the booklet on how to use the functions. It does not include the warranty certificate…it is missing.


Movement: Caliber 59 based on Girard-Perregaux ébauche (GP cal. 2291 used in GP ref. 4935)

Functions: hours, minutes, seconds, date, second time zone, mechanical alarm.


Water Resistance: 30 meters


Bezel: Polished Bezel


Case: AISI 316L polished. Removable wire loop strap attachments (patented). Winding crown personalized OP. The movement's functions are controlled by two independent crowns in steel; - at 2 o'clock: winding, setting the time, the second time zone and the date; - at 4 o'clock: winding and setting the alarm.


Crystal: Sapphire- 1.2 mm thick. Magnifying lens over the date at 3 o'clock with an Anti-reflective coating.


Dimensions: Diameter -42 mm, Thickness-14 mm

Strap: Brand New Hand stitched brown alligator OEM Panerai with an optional Deployment Clasp and includes the OEM Tang steel buckle
