is this a 6694 ?
Looking for a real beater ( for my wife - no I don't want my Wife beaten thanks ) - found this reported 6694 cheap - the hands don't look right, it says Sapphire Crystal and it claims its a 6694 but the dial doesn't say Precision ( as I would have expected ). I'm not much into older references but this looks like a 1500, so any help appreciated.

It doesn't look like a 6694 to me at all. It is a Date model so 1500 is more like it.

1500 as you say and it has a aftermarket date wheel, also it does not say original band and you can't see ( one photo). I would give it a miss. It also should not have sapphire crystal.
