Not so fast, suckers!!!

Ah ah....thought I'd forgotten.....Sit your asses down....NOW!!!

It's time for another grammar lesson!!!

Okay, okay SILENCE!! Frans, no booze in the class....and the rest of you pay attention....Catie and Dina, thanks for coming over yesterday for those private lessons....fun wasn't it?
Well, here goes.....this time it's the difference between there and their.

Example: There is a big difference between their bodies. (see pic below)!!

No worries, tosserettes, if things are still not too clear, my chambers are open!!

Now get out, everyone, I've got work to do!!!

So as you can see there is an adverb and is a kind of 'pointer' if you know what I mean. Their, on the other hand, is a possessive pronoun, a kind of attribute. Understood, tossers and tosserettes??

JJ - Thanks so much for the grammar lessons. Now, when I talk or write, people don't giggle and point any more...

I was hoping that you could also help me out with my difficulties regarding the correct usage of - pear vs. pair, hare vs. hair, and fare vs. fair? Could you use all 6 in 1 sentence to illustrate their correct usage?

Sure Mink, anything for you...here ya go...

The other day, JJ was given a rotten pear, in fact it was a pair for which he paid quite a fair fare and lost all his hair 'cause he had to run to the loo as swiftly as a hare!!

How's that?

This is a classroom, Daren, not your home. Give me 20 one-handed push-ups for all that nonsense you just typed!!!

Their might be a problem with that, see it is hard for me to do too handed pushups with my bad shoulders, so they're is probably no chance I could even do to one handed pushups. Perhaps I could just go sit over their and count by toos to 200.
