A Squirrel Chewed on Your Internet

This link is to an brief talk - just sharing in case the topic is interesting to you. What is the Internet Really?

When a squirrel chewed through a cable and knocked him offline, journalist Andrew Blum started wondering what the Internet was really made of. So he set out to go see it -- the underwater cables, secret switches and other physical bits that make up the net.

Squirrels, huh? No wonder the internet's always going out around here. Wonder what Kaya's been feeding those things while she weans them?

Hehehe, they get a combo of KMR kitten formula and human Gerber mixed cereal with apples and bananna baby food. They also get Cheerios, sweet potato, snow peas, apple, carrot, a few unshelled nuts (so they can practice chewing) and sometimes some dried papaya. Someone is supposed to bring me some acorns.....:
