Extremely ignorant and rude fourboysplus

fourboysplus is one you should stay far away from. This is a very long story, read on if you have the time, it will save you a lot of frustration.

Chad expressed an interest in my Omega PO XL that I have up for sale. He doesn't have Paypal so after several text messages I told him that I would run down to a bank that I don't really deal with so that he could send the funds via EFT. I even agreed to let him pay 2K today and the remaining $800.00 tomorrow because he has a 2K limit per day with EFT. I was willing to do this if he supplied me with some personal information (home phone, address. work number and address as well as a pic of his drivers license) which he said was fine with, in fact, it was his suggestion.

The last text from him was to ask if there are any marks on the lugs from strap changes. I acknowledged that there were some very minor marks but I would take it to my goldsmith to have them taken out and that I would also have him clean up the bracelet.

The watch looks like new, now time to get part of the funds with the rest to follow tomorrow. I text him telling him that the watch is good to go and the guy goes silent on me. I sent him a couple more text messages...nothing. I call his cell, no answer and no call back after leaving him a message.

He said that he would like to have the watch by tomorrow, which I was more that happy to make it happen for him. I ran all over the place trying to accommodate this guy and he doesn't have the decency to at least tell me that the deal is off???? I wasted the better part of my day trying to make sure he was comfortable with what he was getting and who he was dealing with and that's the thanks I get.

Do yourself a favor, get the money before doing anything for this guy. Chad, all it would have taken is a quick call, that's it, no big deal. Don't try to use the excuse that you didn't get the text messages; I know exactly which ones did and didn't go through. Plus I left you a voice message on your cell, so there is no excuse.

I would never conduct myself in this fashion, a few members here have deal with me before and they know how I do things. The funny thing is, I have had several members from other forums contact me saying they had the same issues with this guy. He has been banned at the Canadian Watch Collectors forum for screwing over the owner of the forum.

I know that this post is getting long but I have to convey what happened today July 13th. I contacted Chad via text this morning as I had not received an apology in anyway what so ever and I intended on leaving him with a negative feedback for his poor communication skills throughout this debunked transaction. Let me make this clear, he indicated that he wanted the watch and he would send 2K yesterday and the remaining $800.00 today so I considered it sold. This is the long and short of our text message chat today:

Chad: Never happened before?
Me: No
Chad: Saying I no longer want the watch is untrue. (he didn’t initiate any communication with me today)
Me: So what the Hell are you saying, why go silent?
Chad: He said he had more pressing issues so the watch deal was something he had not thought about.
Me: LMAO…Okay

The guy is a flat out liar, first it was that he got cold feet, then it was he was too busy, then it was he thought the deal was dead because he didn’t hear from me…I had 3 text messages not go through but I did resend them, so we have yet another lie.

He went on making some very strange comments like it’s a luxury watch transaction…ya and??? He asked me if I was retired. He also said that this ruining my day was due to my poor time management skills. He also asked why I had to go to the bank to sign documents. It was because my bank doesn’t do EMT so to accommodate him I went to reopen an account at the Scotia bank because he doesn’t have Paypal. His comment to that was what does that have to do with me? It was to make it so he could pay for the damn watch that he wanted.

It just went on and on, saying he told me twice that he was prepared to go ahead with the transaction…BULL. He went silent as mentioned. He said I was harassing him yet he wouldn’t stop texting me making snide comments, asking if I was single, that I have a short fuse. This guy is ˝ a bubble off level. If you are selling anything to him, make sure you have cash in hand before doing any running around for this moron.

The reason I'm posting this now, so long after the fact is I just had another member pm me saying the same thing, I want everyone to know about this guy before you go though the same thing. Sorry about the very long rant but I thought you should know what you are dealing with when it comes to this %%$#^. Thanks for hearing me out.
