Air King
Finally bought my first Rolex. A new Air King with a blue face. I've wanted one my whole life and finally took the plunge. I've lurked here and while and would like to thank all of you for your help-I read a lot of threads. I look forward to hanging out here, seems like a Top Shelf kinda place...

Beautiful!
The new AK's have a really nice appearance, too, and the updated bracelet is a BIG plus! Plus they are COSC rated Thanks for sharing the pic!

For me this watch just exemplifies classy old school rolex before the need for way too big watches came about.. remember "real" men lasted for years with smaller wristwatches and it did not seem to effect their self esteem one bit!
Classic and classy all in one. what a great choice, enjoy it in good health, some more pictures would be great, different angles and a good look at the new bracelet please! |

Air King
Congrats on your Air-King, Wear it Well!
The Air-King was my second rolex and I still have it and still love it. Air-king's for the most part are dissed. But they are classics.

Welcome to the forums. That is a very classy piece. I like the blue dial, somewhat adventuresome but still very conservative/classy.

Beautiful! I'm a fan of the traditional, non-sport Rolex. Also a fan of the blue dial. Your watch is perfect - congratulations!
I have a question for everyone - what is the difference between an Air-King and an Explorer I? They look identical to my novice eye. |
