Cellinium Experience

Hello All-

My wife asked which Rolex I wanted for Christmas. I have stuck to Sport models and my DD. However, I am considering a Cellinium for my dress watch.

Does anyone have any experience with this Rolex line?

My AD has both of these in stock:

I have never had a Cellini, but for a dress watch most of them are very handsome, and the black dialled version you show is a real beauty.

Most of the Cellinis are manual wound, though. Not a bad thing, just different. Also, all Cellinis come in precious metals only.

The white face MOP was the model I always wanted in this range.
Since joining this forum my mind has wondered - to other models. But if my partner gave me the choice as a present - There's no contest, MOP every time

Tried on the Prince, and what a watch.
Unfortunately I doubt I would wear such a dress watch, to much of a SS sort of guy.
If you get one I know you will enjoy it.

Bo you are correct, these two come in platinum. They list for north of $11k (I know the MOP version is $11,400), but my AD will let my wife get it for $8440 plus our usual 10 year extended warranty and 2 free RSC services...I am strongly leaning this way. That is a great discount IMHO.
