Right, so she took pictures of the watch but then got a picture off the internet for the box? Just me or is that strange?

Seriously, I wouldn't touch this with a ten foot pole. She might as well just keep it. This is really, really sad.

It is said that Ab Lincoln said not to believe everything posted on the internet. But I just dont see how this would "prompt" someone to buy this watch.

I checked out her other items but was afraid to click on the scooby doo hat just in case it was all " this was my fiance's favourite hat. He wore it maybe 3 times tops and only on special occasions...'

At least she didn't say he was wearing it when he met his demise. 'Cause that might be a deal-breaker for some folks.

Just saying.

I dunno, this is a deal breaker right now, on him or not. This should just stay in the family, or not disclose what happened to the owner. Sheesh!

Very strange! She knows she would have to take off the band to see the serial, so the listor knows about Rolex watches, but let the papers go.

By the way: In 2007 (when she claims to have bought the watch) there were no SWISS only dials produced anymore!

???
All I said was that in 2007 there were no Swiss dials anymore, there were 1997, I never contested that.

Hmmm...well, she didn't say she bought it new in 2007. She only reports that its 'like new,' and that she bought it in 2007, paying $5,9xx for it. Further, closing out what remains a deceased person's property is always tough for the survivor(s) - its impossible to keep track of all details (especially something as small as the papers for a watch). However, the report of lost, or missing, papers and no information on its SN do make one wonder as to its authenticity. Not everyone has as much appreciation for these matters as a WIS.....
