Need Help with a Breitling Navitimer from experts
HI:
I'm looking to purchase my first Breitling. I really like the Navitimers. I'm looking at the following two model numbers: AB012012/BB01 AB012012/BB02 Can anyone tell me the difference? I don't see the one model on the Breitling site. I have several Rolex and Omega watches, but I don't know much about Breitlings. I purchased all of my other watches from ADs but I was looking at these on eBay. The vendor is Authentic Watches and has over 10K feedback. Are fake Breitlings a problem? I know you need to be careful with Rolex. Thanks in advance......... Regards, Dennis Last edited by drsmacin; 28 December 2012 at 12:05 AM.. Reason: modify title |

The BB01 has baton hour markers and the BB02 has Arabic hour markers. Most people (myself included) prefer the baton markers on Navitimers.
As for Authentic Watches, I've never purchased from them before, but know they've been around a long time. They're a grey market dealer, and as such, don't offer a Breitling factory warranty. They have their own in-house warranty, which I've heard is a little lacking in the customer service arena. Again, this is hearsay, as I have no personal experience with them. Yes, there are definitely fake Breitlings out there, but I don't think you'd have to worry about that with Authentic Watches. |

The only difference is batons vs. Arabic numerals, and on the Navitimer, the batons look perfect. Go to www.Breitilng.com and click on "Models"- and scroll over Navitimer on the pop-out menu that'll show up, and then click on "Made to Measure". It is a watch builder that shows you all the options of that particular model, and will spit out a model number that you can take to your AD.
I'd personally avoid a grey market dealer for the new B01 movement watches, because you don't get the 5 year warranty that Breitling offers with those watches. |
