He's a French professional climber and BASE-jumper, I forgot his name.
With basejumping you jump of a fixed object like a skyscraper, vertical rock face, bridge or antenna (anything under 100 meters of height is pretty much suicide.)

This guy takes basejumping to a whole new level, climbing up the hard way and then let go of a ledge.

Forgot to mention: with Basejumping you obviously use a parachute to land safely (usually with a large 9cell chute which reduces your falling speed quickly enough.)
