Iwc portuguese automatic

Hey guys,

I'm looking at getting a IWC after I have got my Rolex and was just wondering the price range of them ? I'm looking at either getting the 5001 or 3714 in SS. I have rung a few AD's but they are not open to tomorrow or Monday for some strange reason? Does anyone know the price of them New and Used in pounds? Or know anyone with a thread selling one?

Thanks,
Mitch

I have the Portuguese Chrono auto, 3714 with the bronze hands and blue hands on a off white dial. I can say this is the best watch I have, better than the Daytona SS and much better quality than Rolex. I think the later models have the easy deploy clasp. At present the watch is £5900 but I am sure you can get 20% discount.

The resale value of IWC is pretty low, so you may want to look at the used market as well. It's a nice looking watch, but I can't get over the ETA movement.

The 5001 is a very pretty piece. I personally like the rose gold version. But you can't lose with stainless either. I have a few omega's and Rolex's but my IWC is my favorite watch.
